Maze Parks and Resort

Maze Parks and Resort had become trending and a go-to destination in Iligan City lately because of its newly opened wave pool. So, we went there a couple of Sundays back to check the place and we were not disappointed.
At the entrance of the resort

Here are the things that I like at Maze:
  • The pools are from the spring so its guaranteed clean and chlorine-free.
  • They also have pools both for kids and adults (see photos below).
  • The restrooms are squeaky clean and water is abundant.
  • It's cheap. Entrance fee is P150.00 per head and the cheapest cottage to rent is just P150.00 as well.
This is the cottage worth P150.00 and its the nearest to the pools. I suggest that be there early so you can choose the cottage nearest the pool area. I'm not sure if they accept reservations. We arrived there before 8am and we were first to arrive. At 9 to 10 am, a lot of people came and the place became crowded already.

I suggest that if you visit the place, you go there early so you can really enjoy the resort. Take a dip at the pool while it's not so hot. The pools are not covered with trees so its really hot at around lunch time.

The  wave pool! This is not open the whole day. The first wave starts at around 10:00 am and ends after 20 minutes. They only operate at certain times of the day. The staff at the resort will give a cue as to when they will turn on the waves so people can come and enjoy this pool. It becomes really very crowded during these times.

More pools for little kids

I did a quick vlog of this trip. Check the place out and take a look at the wave pool at the video below:
