Reviewing "SUHI: Oedipus recalled"

It is the era after a successful revolution when the country has just banished a dictator. But in the ravages of war and the struggles for power, the vestiges of the old order remain – a condition where trust and loyalty is suspect. The vacuum in power has realigned forces where the weakened has aligned with new authorities, where once enemies have become friends, and where friends have now adversaries, all in the name of power and political expediency.

Last Monday, September 20, 2010, I had the chance to watch a very fantastic play from the Integrated Performing Arts Guild of the MSU-IIT. It was my second time to watch a play brought by the Xavier Center for Culture And The Arts (My first one was "Welcome to Intelstar" 2 years ago). Once again, XCCA never failed to bring quality performances for a very cheap price. My P75.00 payment was worth it. The play had unexpected twists and turns. It never bored me from the start to the end. It was like a climax all throughout. Most importantly, there was an interaction with the audience. A Steven Patrick C. Fernandez masterpiece, indeed.

Now, I can't wait for the next one! :)
