Centrio Mall launches STYLE ORIGIN

CENTRIO Mall is once again inviting everybody to witness the launching of Ayala Mall's Style Origin.

In a press invite by CENTRIO, it was said that:

"In 2011, Ayala Malls presented Style Origin, series of activities that highlighed music, fashion, design and lifestyle. Through this campaign, Ayala Malls aimed to reinforce its position as the premier lifestyle and shopping destination. Through a series of unique lifestyle initiatives, Style Origin has redefined and elevated the complete retail experience."

For this year’s Style Origin, they will be presenting new and innovative concepts and showcase distinguished homegrown brands, renowned Filipino Designers, illustrious international labels, lifestyle and industry movers.

This will be launched through fashion show on May 25, 2013 at 5 in the afternoon. It will be directed by the acclaimed Robbie Carmona and to be hosted by Phoemela Baranda. Julia Barretto will also be gracing the show.

Mindanao Fashion Summit 2013

From the huge success of Mindanao Fashion Summit 2011, the Oro Fashion Designers Guild, together with the Designers Assembly, Rotunda, Limketkai Center and the Department of Tourism – Region X, is once again bringing the fashion summit that elevated Mindanao fashion to the next level – Mindanao Fashion Summit 2013.

MFS 2013 is a 3 day fashion gathering from January 4-6, 2013 at Limketkai Center. Present in this spectacular fashion event are VIPs, fashion icons, brands, enthusiast, designers, and writers that will feature the latest trends in the Mindanao fashion scene.

Mindanao Fashion Week 2011

An invitation from the Oro Fashion Designers Guild:

The Oro Fashion Designers Guild (OFDG) is composed of Kagay-anon fashion designers who are passionate in bringing Mindanao Fashion to the national scene.

The OFDG, in partnership with the Limketkai Center, is staging the 1st Mindanao Fashion Week from August 1 to 6, 2011. Most of the notable and talented fashion designers from Mindanao and fashion brands from the country will be participating in this week long event to showcase their global design and their fashion forecast for 2012. Aside from our local designers, Manila fashion designers such as Frederick Peralta, Christian Espiritu, Renee Salud, Raoul Cheoke, Bo Parcon and Julius Tarog will be invited to present their collection.

The intent of this event is to broaden fashion and brand awareness of all affiliated companies and organizations amongst the chic urban professional consumer community. It is designed and appealed to the tastemakers that take active roles in setting the mold for style in Mindanao and the hottest trends and over all ingenuity of Mindanaoan designers.
The target audience for these shows includes high level delegates from public and private sectors. This event is organized to let all fashion enthusiasts experience a new height of artistry in Mindanao.

The Mindanao Fashion Summit will start on August 1, 2011, 4:00 pm until August 6, 2011 at 10 pm.

Project Rampage

CDOC's Most Photogenic People

on Facebook

Last night, as I was browsing Facebook, I came across with this facebook page. I've encountered pages like this before like Xavier University's Pretty faces, CDOC's pretty faces, etc. and all the pictures in there are always from the same people (most are known local models here in CDOC)...

But this one is like Woah! Why? This time, I was actually part of it. When I browsed through the "Young Female" album pictures in that facebook page, I saw my face! Yeah, my face! Can't you believe it? Never in my wildest dreams have I thought I'm photogenic. I mean, I love to take pictures of myself but to be recognized as photogenic especially from someone I don't personally know is overwhelming. The aim as written there is to "promote CDO's beautiful faces and artists." Nakz! hahaha :)

And they even placed my name there. How did they know? I really wonder who is updating the page but really, I have the biggest thanks to whoever you are. :)

I browsed through the other pictures and most of the known local models here in CDOC are included (of course!) and this is such a great honor to be part of this. Again, to whoever gave this recognition, my sincerest thanks to you. :)

GOLD Photoshoot

GOLD PHOTOSHOOT

Last August 22, 2010, I had the chance to join a photoshoot. It was my first time but I had so much fun. The photographers were very nice. I was nervous and I did not feel comfortable but they encouraged me during the entire process... and holla! the photos turned out well! :)

The photoshoot was entitled GOLD because it was in line to our city feast celebration .

(You know, Cagayan de Oro City is called the City of Golden Friendship in the Philippines)

The shoot's concept was everything about GOLD --- shiny, classy, elegant.

When they sent me the pictures, I could not believe what I saw! It was entirely a different me!

I looked so FILIPINA here. A conservative, sophisticated Filipina. hehehe. :)
