Incubus Live in Manila 2011! I was there!

Incubus Live in Manila 2011 was awesome! I never thought in my entire lifetime I would be able to watch this band perform live but I did! This is the second time they performed in the Philippines and they were still able to have the Araneta Colisuem filled with people.

As the gates opened, we went inside the coliseum right away and waited for the show to start. After a couple of minutes, Franco, a Filipino Rock supergroup comprised of members from other bands began playing as the front-act of the concert. They played 5 songs. Or at least, that's what I remember.

After which, the assistants of Incubus set-up the stage. People began screaming at this point. I guess that's just how excited we were with Incubus!

After a couple of minutes, finally Brandon Boyd and the rest of the band members came to the stage and electrified us with their much smashed hit Megalomaniac. People began standing, screaming, singing along, and taking videos and photos. Because people were singing along, you could no longer hear the voice of Brandon clearly! Araneta was on a high!!!! They played a lot of songs from their previous albums and their new ones. And as expected, they sang Nice To Know You as their farewell.

All in all, it was a very great concert! Sulit! I never regretted that we went there all the way from Cagayan de Oro just to watch them live! :)

By the way, Mike the guitarist wrecked his guitars and an amplifier during the concert. I guess that's just how perfectionist he is when it comes to their music.

We took videos and will be uploaded soon. For the meantime, here are some photos from the concert. Sorry for the quality because these were just taken from my digital camera.
