This is a long overdue post but let me share to you our latest outreach activity of the CDOBloggers.
This happened last March in one of the SENDONG Relocation sites in Indahag. We decided to donate toilet papers for the ECOSAN and conduct a Children's Party as part of their psychological debriefing.
Fortunately, MCDONALDS-Ororama helped us and provided us with a cheaper package when they knew that the activity was for a cause. They offered us their supposedly "Christmas" Package. Yey!
Upon arriving at the venue, we set-up the place right away. The kids were really excited for the activity!
Since it was a children's party, every one had their party hats, balloons, and stuff. :)
Then, the games began led by the Mcdonalds' crew. All of the kids wanted to join and win cool prizes!
Ronald Mcdonalds went out and entertained the kids. This is the most awaited part! Even the CDOBloggers grabbed the opportunity to take a photo with him. Naks! :)
Food and giveaways were given to the children. Yummy snacks for them! :)
Of course, who would forget the turn-over of toilet papers for the ECOSAN? The community was really thankful. And we're also glad to give a little contribution to them.
A truly memorable day, indeed. It's nice to volunteer and advocate with the CDOBloggers. We're not just a blogging community. We're here to support our friends.
