April is my mom's birth month but we weren't able to celebrate it on her day because she went to Manila for a long-week trip with her siblings. When she got back, we decided to visit a newly-opened resort in Misamis Oriental, the C Resort in Libertad. It is currently in its soft opening.
When we got there, the place was already fully booked. We were not able to book ahead time because they were not responding to our calls. Nevertheless, when we got there, they still accommodated us and gave us tables and chairs instead. That was fine with us, since we were just there to swim at the first place.
The tables and chair were supposed to be for their overnight guests and those who would like to eat at their restaurant but they gladly gave the space to us since nobody was there at that time.
The entrance fee is at P295.00 per person (including kids), NON-consumable. You may bring your food. They only charge corkage for lechon. They have cabanas/cottages for rent. Lowest rate is at P1,500.00. They also have accommodations should you wish to stay there overnight.
This is one of "Instragrammable" spot at the resort :)
They have 3 pools... 6ft, 4ft, and 2ft. There is a life guard on duty to watch over swimmers, especially the kids, at the pool area. Tip: Be there early or swim at late afternoon. It's really very hot at around noon time. The pools are not shaded with trees, etc. You may also swim at the beach but at your own risk.
This is the 2ft pool and the 4 ft at the back
The resort also has mini-playground and a giant chessboard where kids (and young at hearts) can play.

Belated happy birthday, once again, to my mama!!! See you at C!
