Last February 18, 2011, XU KKP-SIO produced a benefit concert entitled "Himig Nasyonalismo" featuring Noel Cabangon. This concert-for-a-cause was produced to instill the value of nationalism and service to our fellow Kagay-anons especially the youth. The concert was supported by students, professionals, and service-oriented people. The event was successful.
As part of the advocacy, the proceeds of the concert will be donated to Oro Habitat Community, Inc. to finance the construction of 2 houses for its beneficiaries. Aside from this, KKP-SIO is calling out volunteers for the Community House Build Activity they are organizing.
The House Build will be in the morning of March 16, 2011 . Assembly is at 6:30 am, XU- KKP Office. Snacks and lunch will be served.
