Please support our Outreach Program and Feeding Activity at Cadayunan Primary School!

The CDOBloggers will be having an outreach program and feeding activity on December 2, 2011 at Cadayunan Primary School, a newly opened public school in Besigan.  Besigan is 52 kilometers away from the Cagayan de Oro city proper and most of the people in the area are farmers with no regular transportation except dump trucks from the city government which help transport their farm products. Before Cadayunan Primary School was approved last March 2011, children had to walk 12 kilometers everyday to and from the nearest school resulting to most of them skipping school and eventually stop.

Recently opened last June 2011, Besigan is blessed to have this newly opened school and children now are able to access education. Currently, the school has 60+ pupils and 2 teachers. The school is really in need of learning materials which will aid pupils' learning and aid teachers' instruction.
