DANCE TO THE BEAT OF MOTHER EARTH: A Climate Change Awareness Program

DANCE TO THE BEAT OF MOTHER EARTH: A Climate Change Awareness Program held yesterday at the Pelaez Sports Center, Cagayan de Oro City was a huge success. A Project by the Junior Chamber International-Kagayhaan Gold chapter, the objectives were to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle by this dance work-out and by the P100.00 paid, they will also be able to contribute to the distribution of segregated trash bins to the different Barangays in the city. Not only that, community members will also be trained to become aware of Climate Change.

The work-out consists of four parts with four different work-outs led by four reputable trainers/choreographers in the City.

The last work-out was also participated by LJ Reyes, a homegrown talent of GMA-7.

The JCI-Kagayhaan Gold chapter wishes to thank all the government offices, schools,  private institutions, and individuals who made the event a success. We would also like to thank Soundblaster for the sound system and LED TV, Pelaez Sports Center for allowing us to use the venue, and GMA-7 for bringing LJ Reyes and for covering the event.

We will be bringing back this event next year. Watch out for it! :)
